So it's the Eve of Halloween. I love this time of year. All the gorgeous colours of the leaves on the trees. Bright sunshine in the morning. When I was teaching I used to always get the class to do poems. With the little ones we used to do a class poem together. Great for colour and descriptive work. Plus a good excuse to get them out and about looking for leaves and conkers etc. We did loads of leaf prints and rubbings too. Great fun.
Very excited about the party tomorrow. I'm busy making chilli, pumpkin and coconut stew and pumpkin and ginger muffins and pumpkin and pecan pie, very American. We carved the pumpkins last night and they look very spooky! LOL
Got a sore throat and bit of a cold, hope it doesn't get any worse. Will dose up on Beechams tonight. My lovely father in law gave it to me...he is so generous with his illnesses :0P
I suppose I'd better get on with my cooking...hope there is enough food, we've got about 25 people coming...aaaargh! It'll be like feeding the five thousand.

Tried to post the other night but then everything just went pfffft and then all my ramblings were gone! :0(
Feeling ok at the moment. Just trying to really get into the Autumn spirit and I'm coming up with ideas for our Halloween Party. I've also been working like a trooper on the Diva Pleasures site. Hopefully you will be able to buy online by the end of the week....hooray!
Coping ok with the lack of being pg. Have got this month off and will be starting the IUI treatment again in early November. Great more stabbing!
Errrrm not much else happening really, spent most of the morning chasing cats out of the kitchen who sneak in to eat Lula's food...the little bu**ers!
Been smoking the odd cig...bad Leni...bad Leni...will give up again though I am sure.
Think I'll start making the other christmas cakes tomorrow. It's the first year that I've made my own...I'm well chuffed with how the last one turned out so now I'm making them for the Grandmas too. Oh what a domestic goddess I am...NOT! LOL

The preggy tests have arrived...I've done one and it is a Big Fat Negative :0( I'm not really surprised, a positive would have been too good to be true. I feel like crap, so does Andy. Will probably keep testing if aunt flo doesn't show up. It's probably the cyclogest keeping her away.
Poo poo, bum and bugger, that's what I say!

I am going insane....I will be doing a home pregnancy test tomorrow, it's two weeks since the first IUI. I'm going nuts, just want to know now. Must know, must find out! One mintue I'm sure it will be positive...sore boobs, bloated tummy but that could be the hormones I am taking. Next minute I'm sure it will be a negative, for the same reasons. Both Andy and I are feeling so nervous, we have tried to play it down but it is impossible.
I've ordered a load of cheap pregnancy testing kits off the Net, luckily they didn't turn up this morning otherwise I would have already tested. I know, like a day is going to make a difference! By my usual cycle af wouldn't be due until next Friday, so if I get a -ive result tomorrow I'l be testing everyday until af appears....sad I know, but this is a desperate woman you are reading about here, so bear with me!
Enough of my waffling, I'm boring myself so goodness knows how anyone reading this feels. Just keep you fingers crossed for me and I've still got my rose quartz pinned to my knickers ;0) LOL It's supposed to be good for fertility.
