Another post...already????

Yeah, so I got Down With Love DVD from Andy for Valentine's. We watched it and it was fab. I luuurve those sort of films. Give me Doris Day and Rock Hudson anytime. So peed off that 50's fashion is in now, Ever since I was at Uni I have wanted that to be in, I used to buy 50's second hand clothes when I lived in Nottingham, but now it is actually the fashion I am too old to wear them, plus I don't have any where to wear them even if I could!!!!!

The 50's is my era, I love the music...Elvis is a GOD! The clothes, the style, and the films were just so colourful. OK some of the 40's films were good too. I think Gene Kelly is fantastic. Infact whilst we were in Scotland I couldn't stop thinking about Brigadoon! Now if only I could remember the tune :0) But I do know loads of Doris Day songs and I delighted my travelling companions by singing most of them on the 10 hour journey home....philistines, didn't really appreciate them, neither did they appreciate my rendition of 'Toucha Toucha Me'....but what do they know!?

Soooooo yeah...not pregnant...surprise, surprise!

The castle was fantastic. It was sooooo peaceful. I felt so calm there and the views were fantastic. We were right next to the sea and went for walks along the beach. We saw a seal on the rocks and when we came back along the beach he was right there on the shore. we got some great pics as we were able to get about 5 foot away from him/her. I called him/her 'Little Fatty' and then kept singing Lip Up Fatty all the way home, as you do!

Basically we just chilled out and took it easy. Came home via Arran and I wasn't nervous on the ferries. Disaster movies have a lot to answer for. I have a vivid imagination and a real phobia about the sea. But both crossing were calm and the smell of diesel wasn't overwhelming. That usually starts me off, as does the smell of chlorine in swimming pools...I know I'm sad! :p

Anyway here's some photos of our trip
