Here he is!

Lil Jakey bubs has arrived. Jacob Steven was born on Thurs 23rd Sept, at 3.14pm, weighing 6lbs 3 and a half ounces. And to prove it here's a pic of him with his Mum and Dad. Ann will probably kill me putting a photo of her in her jammies on the Net! But don't they all look fantastic. I went to see them on Friday and Ann looked great, Jon was chuffed to bits and Jake was sleeping. He is so tiny in your arms and very chilled. Gorgeous :0)

I was feeling really up all last week but I started my stims yesterday and ever since have felt like crap. I didn't do a Craft Fair yesterday and haven't gone to a Christening today. I feel like I could cry all the time, I can't cope with seeing people and my stomach and back are killing me. But apart from that I'm doing great! LOL I'm really trying to stay positive and have been listening to my hypnotherapy cd but I prefer the relaxing music side rather than the talking side.

I'm so excited!

Got an email late last night from Jon, Annie Eag's waters broke yesterday morning and now she is at the hozzy. No more news yet, come on Lil Jakey bubs, we can't wait to meet you. Very excited :0)

Been doing some digging at the allotment. Dug up about 200 sq ft, only another 1200 to go!!! Got to start taking it easy soon, going for baseline scan tomorrow, hopefully then I can start on the stimming injections. Great more stabbing, just loving those bruised thighs...NOT!

Had a hynotherapy session on Monday, it was my first time and I really enjoyed it. I'm hoping it will help me relax during treatment and also help to keep me positive. The tape she has given me to listen to inbetween times doesn't really seem appropriate though, it's mainly about confidence and self esteem and that's not really what I want to get out of it. Maybe I'll just listen to the music instead and try some meditation. Ooo, it's getting all a bit New Age and hippyish on here isn't it, what with organic gardening, hypnotherapy, vitamin popping and now meditation. Blimey, I never realised I was such a mellow soul ;0)

Just starting with a pounding headache now, aunt flo is late so might delay treatment, I hope not. Think I'll go and chill out on the couch with the cat for a bit. We're going out for a meal with the outlaws tonight, their treat to us as a late anniversary pressie. Looking forward to it. We took my Mum and Dad out for a meal on Sunday for their 39th wedding anniversary. Mum has just phoned to tell us off, at Weight watchers today she has found that she has put 3lbs on, but hey the meal was lovely :0) My tummy is huge, I'm blaming the drugs but I know that it is really due to the vast quantities of cheese on toast that Andy has been making me. He does take good care of me...bless him.

Steven Spielberg eat my shorts!

Go to this link and make your own film. http://www.dfilm.com/index_movie_start.htmlGroovy baby yeah :0)

Other news, have not turned into hormonal woman from Hell yet! But I am a little tetchy. Went to Liverpool Women's Hospital yesterday to have a look round as that's where my Embryo Transfer will be taking place. Nothing very exciting there. I've also booked a hypnotherapy session for Monday. I'm hoping this will help me deal with stress and get me in a focussed and positive frame of mind. I'm also going to book a massage too. My back has been killing me lately, it's probably my poor posture when I'm sitting at the 'puter.

Didn't go to Most Haunted as we had to go to Liverpool the next day, but did watch it on the telly. The table tipping was very impressive, didn't like the other medium they had on though Brian somebody, he just kept shouting out names and waving his arms in the air. Very theatrical.

Digging at the allotment is going ok, we've dug over about 150 sq ft, only another 1200 sq ft to go!

Sunny days and happy days

Just finished having a barby, making the most of the sun in the back garden. It's chilly and windy out there now, although the sun is cracking the flags at the front!

Got a call today to say that we've got tickets for Most Haunted Live at Maes Artro in Llanbedr, near where we go camping. Unfortunately the car is still at the garage as it failed it's MOT...boo hiss. So it doesn't look likely that we will be going. Do any of you lot watch Most Haunted on Living TV? I love it. I'm such a sceptic but I'd love to see real paranormal activity. Mostly you just see Yvette Fielding almost wetting herself and crying coz she gets herself so worked up and scared. I'm sure I would be the same. Derek Acorah is great although he has yet to convince me that he is really 'speaking' to the dead. Anyway, Andy and I howl with laughter through most of the programme although I'm not sure that's the reaction we are supposed to be having.

Still not got the key for the lottie, will probably be pissing down by the time we get to go there and make a start on clearing the site.

In other news only 2 days 'til I start stabbing again! :0)

Not long now!

So my drugs arrived on Friday and I'm all set to start stabbing again on Thursday. Getting really excited now and making a big effort to stay positive. Might try some deep breathing exercises and book a massage too, to help me stay relaxed. A friend who is a lay preacher and understands what we are going through as he and his wife conceived through GIFT told us that their prayer circle is going to say a prayer for us over the next few weeks. Now neither Andy or I are 'churchgoers' but we'll take all the help we can get and I think it's a lovely thing to do for us too. Every bit of support is really appreciated.

In other news the car has failed it's MOT and can't be fixed until next week, so sorry Ann mate but I won't be able to come and see you and lil' Jakey bump for awhile...Boo hiss! Got to cancel going to a craft fair tomorrow too. Ah well, I think I'll spend the day in the garden, plus we've got loads of apples, pears and rhubarb to preserve, so I guess that will keep us occupied.

By the way thanks to Batty for passing on this site Racing Frogs I am addicted and have 2 frogs already, Billy Flip and Surf Dude. As you can tell I do use my time constructively LOL

Welcome to the jungle!

So we went to have a look at the allotment today, Plot 48. Oh my God...I don't think it has been touched since 1948!
Take a look at the pics and you will see we have got a lot of clearing to do.
Here's me alongside our plot...

Here's the lovely potting shed...

Here are 2 views of the jungle/allotment

And here is our luxury wc...nice!

So I guess we have a lot of work on our hands, and knees and backs. Better stock up on Deep Heat! LOL
