I'm doing ok guys. I've cried all my tears and I've pulled myself up by the bootstraps and just getting on with life. We've been in this place so many times before. You've just got to get on with it and look forward to the next time. Next treatment will probably be January/February, when we have some cash!
So yeah, it's Halloween, you know how I love this festival :0) Tonight we are going a Rocky Horror party at the pub, so I've got to dig my Magenta maid outfit out and have a good root around in my sock drawer for some fishnets! Tomorrow we've got the outlaws coming for the evening, at least I think they are, I hope so, I've got enough bloomin' food to feed them all! I made up the trick or treat bags last night. Honestly I'm such a big kid. I do hope our nephew and niece come over coz it's a good excuse for us to go out trick or treating, I've never really done it before.

Hello, my happy friend. You have high spirits and know how to have a good time. When your friends go out, most likely they invite you almost all the time. You most likely will enjoy your Halloween. Good for you. Keep up the excitement. You probably light people's dark days with your smiles and laughter. Although you're good, doesn't mean you're an angel. You can tend to have a scary and/or other type of side to you. As long as you have fun, do your scares this Halloween. Have a safe and happy one, Joyous Pumpkin.
Just a quick post to say things have all gone pear shaped. Look away if you don't want too much information. I started bleeding heavily on Saturday, a week before I am due to do a pregnancy test. So it's another negative. Andy and I are devastated obviously. Will post again when I feel up to it.
Sooo the good news is that at my Egg Collection yesterday we ended up with 7 eggs...woo hoo. Lucky 7 I say. The date was the 7th of October, I was in bed 7, we got 7 eggs and we live at number 7. If you take the babies due date from EC day then it will be due on 7/7/2005!!!
Had a phone call half an hour ago to say that 5 of the eggs have fertilised so I'm going to Liverpool Women's hospital to have 2 embryos put back inside me. I'm feeling so positive and on such a high.
That's all for now got to go and tidy up a bit so I can take it easy over the next couple of weeks. Ahhh the dreaded 2 week wait, we've been there so many times before but I'm going to stay chilled and positive. Keep listening to my hypno CD and I'm going to go for another session in the middle of the 2ww, to keep me feeling positive and focussed.
Monday, October 04, 2004 Today is Getting Better in every way.
Just got back from todays scan and HURRAH, I now have 8 follies, so we're are hopefully looking at 5 or 6 eggs to collect on Thursday. Just one more Burserelin stab tomorrow and then the Pregnyl one tomorrow night to set ovulation off. Got to be at the hozzy for 7.45am on Thursday, so will have to have an early night. Also nothing to eat as I am going to be sedated. I feel on top of the world at the moment. I'm soooo chuffed :0)
Other good news Myst IV has been released and Andy has just ordered it. So I guess we will be playing that during my 2 week wait. Still not got back into playing URU, that will have to wait now though.
It's been one of those weeks! Andy has put a new browser thingy on my 'puter, FireFox and I have noticed that the text on my Blog comes up all screwy when you view it on it, so to those who see lots of wonky fonts on here...apologies but it looks fine in Explorer!
Anyway, my 'puter has been running like a pig, could be due to the fact that I have 3.5 gigs worth of stuff on my drive..oopps. I guess I should clean it all up but I can't be arsed. So Andy did stuff to it and it is running better. I was desperately trying to get Publisher up to print soap labels and stuff and my 'puter was just going...ugh noooo I don't think so. I will just ignore you! Hmmmph! So anyway, the router blew up too (not my fault, honest!) and basically everything went tits up...but now everything seems to be working fine I'm not saying that out loud incase I incur the wrath of the 'puter gods and something nasty befalls my 'puter. That would just be typical of this week.
I've been dashing about like a blued arsed fly trying to get loads of stock made for a wholesale order. You see my problem is I leave everything to the last minute. Yep, I was one of those kids that started doing their homework at 9pm on a Sunday night. So anyway, yesterday I made 300 mini bath bombes, wrapped 4 kilos of soap and made and wrapped 8 massage bars. But I did get the order done, and got the labels to print at 1 o'clock this morning! I dropped the order off this afternoon at the shop and they were really pleased with the stuff. So that was good :0)
I think one of the reasons my 'puter went on strike is coz I've been redoing graphics and photos for my Diva Pleasures site but I can't bear to get rid of the old graphics and pics from the previous 3 versions....what if I need them sometime...you never know... Plus this laptop, (IBM Thinkpad), I use is really getting past it's best, I have to use a seperate keyboard as some keys are missing, due to me trying to clean it once, I popped the keys off to clean underneath them thinking they would pop back on, they don't! But I do now have Andy's old flat screen montior as he has bought himself a new computer and monitor...very posh silver Mac G5 and 23" widescreen Mac monitor. I always get the handmedowns LOL At least with the huge monitor gone I have more space to spread my crap....I mean important paperwork and stuff on my desk.
Other news my ovaries are crap....sorry I'm sick of trying to be positive. Oh ok then, I am being positive but I'm also being honest. 4 bloomin' follies, that's all I've got after bloody stabbing myself for over 3 weeks, all them hormones and that's my lot, 4 follicles. Other girls on the Fertility Friends board are going on about having 10, 15, even 17....bloody 4 indeed :0( When the consultant told me that was all there were and he didn't think anymore would appear I went into shock. When we got out in the corridor I just burst into tears! Bloody hormones! I got myself together though and tried to look on the positive side which is it only take one egg to do the business so all is not lost. Going for another scan tomorrow, I'm hoping that some more follies will have appeared and prove the consultant wrong, I'm also hoping that IVF and egg collection will still go ahead on Thursday. I guess I'll find out tomorrow. I'll give my ovaries a good talking to before I go to sleep. Maybe I'll scare them into producing something useful!
Plus I've started smoking again, all that eating properly, not smoking, not drinking, taking vitamins it was just not me! I will stop smoking again tomorrow though, as I said it's just been one of those weeks. Don't think I'm down in the dumps though, I'm still trying to stay positive and focussed, and really you've got to laugh at your own misfortunes sometimes. My motto is hope for the best and expect the worst....you'll never be too disappointed then.
I've rambled enough, I'm knackered and I've got to get up early in the morning to do my stabbing. There are so many bruises on both my thighs now that I am now injecting into my stomach which is also bruised after just 3 days. I guess it's coz I'm doing 2 injections now. Ah well a small price to pay, not like the £102 it cost the other day for another tiny vial of meds!!! But hey, if these are the things I have to do then be it so, as Yoda would say :0)
