So I know it's a little early but I've got a busy day ahead tomorrow. Infact I'm pretty busy today too. I've been busy making and baking for our New Year's Eve party tomorrow. I'm boiling and baking a big piece of gammon, making a spinach, ricotta and tomato flan, little pesto, mascarpone and sundried tomato whirls, filo pastry bitesize yummies and a apple and pear cinnamon tart...phew! Only got the filo pastry bites, (chicken& stilton with apricots and brie & cranberry), and the apple tart left to make. The ham has got to go in the oven in half an hour, so thought I would pop on here quickly.
Andy has just been to the Co op for some more desserts as Ann, Jon and Jakey can't come, lil Jakey is a poorly boy, bless him. Anyway, they were going to bring Jon's gorgeous chocolate chessecake and Ann's yummy trifle...I was looking forward to pigging out on them guys ;0) Hope you are all better soon. We'll be raising a toast to absent friends :0)
So yeah, another year almost over, it's true the years do go by quicker as you get older, this one has definitely flown by. So I guess it just leaves me to wish you all a very Happy New Year and I hope 2006 is a good one for you all. Much Love Leni x | 5:32 pm
Wednesday, December 21, 2005 Festive Greetings!
So whatever you celebrate or don't celebrate at this time of year I just wanted to wish you all well and hope that you have a Happy New Year too.
I think I'm just about sorted for Chrimbo, got my Mum and Dad coming for dinner on Christmas Day and then the outlaws and brother in law and family coming on Boxing Day. Really looking forward to it. I've just been to pick up the last of my pressies for Andy, I can't say what it is as he might read here, don't think he stops by often but you just know he would if I wrote it down, Sod's Law I guess ;0)
Meeting up with friends on Friday and going out for a bit of Christmas cheer..hic! LOL
Not much else going on really, guess I'd better get on with tidying up. A woman's work is never done! | 1:56 pm
