Soooo, it's been awhile since I wrote here, what have I been up to?

Went to the Beer Festival on Friday, that was brilliant, excellent band, luvverly ciders and homemade wines. Damson...yum! Had a bad head the next day, though :0( Didn't drink a lot but my they were potent! Excellent band on, didn't feel like boogieing though, other people were making a fool of themselves and I didn't like to distract the audience, LOL

I've been busy making a Wishing Well for my mate's weddings, for all the gifts of money to go in...cool idea huh? I've also made a book for the guests to write things in. I got some gorgeous paper from one of the shops at the craft centre. I love the textured papers, I use them to make collages on the cards that I make to go in the shop.

Sooooo, excited about the wedding, Ann and Jon are going to have a lovely day.

Well it's back to watching Big Brother on the Net for me, yes I am truly addicted, I may cancel before my free 14 vdays viewing runs out though...

So that's it, probably til after the weekend.

Well, it's a late post tonight. Just had to watch Friends, I usually forget and have to watch it on 'Second Chance Sunday'! And even then I sometimes miss it.

So tonight we had a barbecue for tea, I was trying to pretend that I was still on my hols, but the severe lack of sunshine in our backyard didn't really help much with that fantasy ;0)

I've just been trolling through the Net, went to the Friends Reunited site. I got in touch with a few people I had lost contact with through that. Infact, I'm meeting up with some of them tomorrow night at the local Beer Festival. Should be fun. Oooo, that reminds me I must email someone as I can't find their phone number, bloomin' Andy has reinstalled his machine and the contact details were on there...grrrr! It's not the first time he's done that! Gone and wiped my stuff off...I tell you, it's a bloody cheek! ;0)
Anyhoo must go, 'til next time...Ciao!

So Ann has just left. I can't believe that next time I see her she will be minutes from getting married...wow, we'll be two old married women together.

It's going to be a lovely day, her and Jon will have a great time. The day goes by so quickly, but it's wonderful to have friends and family around you sharing all your happiness. I know that sounds really cheesy and soppy but it's true.

Andy asked me to marry him 12 days after we started going out together, although we had known each other for about 12 months by then. I just knew he was the right bloke. His temperament, his attitude to life, his drive to do stuff that didn't follow everyone's expectations. His wide and varied interests, his passion for travelling and living. His postive outlook, his laughter, his crows feet around his eyes from always smiling. His ability to intrigue me and to make me think. The way he could make me feel like I can do anything that I set my mind to. His strength, his tenderness, his wisdom, his charm, his determination.
Of course his gorgeous white blonde hair that looks like spun gold, his strong hands, big shoulders and the twinkle in his eye.
He is my friend, my partner, my lover and I never tire of his company, infact he is the bees knees! And I think we make a great team. I can't imagine a person who would be a more perfect ying to my yang. I truly believe that we are soul mates.

WOW, that was all a bit intense...but after nearly 6 years of marriage I feel as strongly and passionately about him as I did when we first met. He continues to intrigue me and our relationship always seems to be moving forward. We bring out only the best in each other. Of course sometimes we have our times when we are upset with each other but these are few and far between, and they are always resolved.

The past couple of days have really made me think about relationships and family and friends, perhaps this is a topic I will come back to soon, but for now I think I'll post this and then go and give Andy a big snog...just because I can ;0)

Soooo yeah, I'm back.

Holiday was fantastico, great weather, excellent accomodation and beautiful countryside. We had a great time just chilling out, reading, eating and drinking. Pure Bliss! We went to Praia Da Luz, The Algarve We also went on a Jeep Safari, a brilliant way to see the Algarve countryside, and we bought some local moonshine and ate chicken piri piri....YUM! You do get pretty dusty on the trip though! :0)

Of course we came back to rain at Manchester Airport and then rushing around once we got home. Went to the shop to pick up stuff for the Craft Fair. The Craft Fair went really well, I'm on the look out for any more that are coming up.

Now, I'm just waiting for my mate, Ann, to arrive. She gets married a week on Friday so it's all very exciting! We'll have a few drinkies, and have a natter about all the stuff that's been going on.

So that was all short and sweet but I'm sure I'll make up for it in the days to come.

Well, just a quick post today. Got to do some last minute packing and also do an order for the shop and print labels out. Not much to do then! :0)

Got to get to bed for 8.30pm coz we have to be at the airport for 3.30am...yes another early rise!

My holiday reading from Amazon has arrived, so that's good. Should be an excellent chilled week. I will return refreshed ready for the big Craft Fair.

So until next time I guess that's it :0)

Just had to add in this link about Tallulah Bankhead She was one hell of a character. If you get the chance, read one of the books about her wild life.
Now back to packing my suitcase.

So I slept in today...was supposed to get up early but what the hell! I managed to pick up stuff for the shop at 2pm, then went back to wrap up stuff I have been making ready for the Craft Fair.

Also had to call and get Andy some cufflinks, he must have given his back to his Dad. There is a standing family joke that if we gave everything we have borrowed back to his parents then they would have to move to a bigger house!

The office smells yum, Andy has put some Chocolate Brownie pumice in the oil burner, it's making me feel hungry though. Good job dinner will be ready soon. Peking Crispy Duck, my favourite.

It's pamper evening for me...defuzz, fake tan, dye hair...it'll take me hours! LOL Hopefully Andy will tidy the house whilst I'm lazing in the bath ;0) Hee Hee.

I'm looking forward to going to the Races tomorrow, it should be brill. A whole day out, away from the shop. The taxi is picking us up at 10.15am, another early start. Breakfast and a few drinkies at the pub and then we'll wander down to the Course.

Uh oh, the cat is giving me hassle, she wants a fuss. We will miss her so much whilst we are on holiday. we got her from An RSPCA home in January. She's called Tallulah, after the decadent movie star Tallulah Bankhead..

Anyhoo, me and my rumbling tummy are off now, the oven is beeping. Yay, food! :0)

Well I managed to get about 4 and half hours sleep before I had to get up at 7am...Ugh...and the sun wasn't even shining!

Managed to get to the shop for 11.30 am, so about on time for me! Not too many customers at the shop today, but the ones that came in did buy quite a bit, so that was good. I've been busy making aphrodite Bath Melts and Choc Chunk Fizzers today...what...??? I hear you cry. Well the Bath Melts are heart shaped mini cocoa butter bath bombes that contain ground oatmeal and rose petals, with added Ylang Ylang, Patchouli and Sandalwood Essential Oils, and the Choc Chunks are mini cube bath bombes with bits of cocoa butter in them and fragranced with coconut and dark chocolate...YUM! I've brought them home to package up. I'll have to print out some labels later.

Bit p****d off with my shop landlord at the mo...just found out I am paying £20 a month more rent than the guy who has the shop next to me. Hmmm, I've asked about it and basically, that's the way it is apparently...we'll see.

We're off to Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet Village in a mo, Andy is picking up his suit and I've got to get a hat and maybe a new outfit coz we are off to Chester Races on Thursday, with my bro and his fianceé. Should be an excellent day. Gotta go to Asda later too, to get some microwave meals in for my bro who will be 'cat sitting' for us all next week. I'm soooo looking forward to the holiday, no phones, no 'puters and no getting up early! :0)

Ah well, I'm off now, must just finish munching this sandwich!

Hmmm... well I'm here...
You know, I really shouldn't be here, I should be in bed but I just had to come on here and play. I've got soooo much to do. The printer is whirring out the first issue of the Diva Pleasures Newsletter. A very exciting time for me I'll have you know. *G*

I have been a bit silly and booked a holiday, (which is a good thing),we leave on Saturday, only to come back a week later and the very next day I have a huge Craft Fair to go to. So I'm mad busy making stuff, luvverly smelling goodies, so that I'll have plenty of stuff to sell. Yikes, this is my first big Craft Fair, what have I let myself in for! I've got to close the shop for the day coz I don''t think I've got enough stuff to sell at both places. I do hope the weather is good, apparently 6000 people visited this Fair 2 years ago, that will hopefully mean that I'll get plenty of customers. Also it's fairly local so it will promote my shop too.

Ugh, I'm so tired, Andy keeps bringing me coffee to keep me awake. All it's doing is giving me raging indigestion :0(

So, it's been a usual evening for us...we are such geeks, we sit in the 'office' which should really be a sitting room but we've got it as the 'puter room. Andy is on the main 'puter and I'm on the laptop. He's working on a website he's doing for Congleton Council and I'm here surfing the Net and doing Shop stuff. We spend most evenings like this as we don't work 9 til 5, we work 11am til we're bloody well finished! Ahh but tomorrow I've got to drive Andy to Alsager for a 9 o'clock meeting....I don't do 9 o'clock in the morning...I'll feel like shit!

So I guess I'll post this up and then have a look and a tinker...night.
