So I'm on the 2 week wait again. I had IUI on Monday. I'm feeling ok, just got a really bloated tummy.

Looking forward to going to Scotland. Won't do a pg test whilst I am there. Will wait 'til I get home.

Not much else going on really, I'm taking it easy and spend most of the day lying on the couch. I'm not even driving for the next two weeks. It might seem over the top but I just really want this to work.

So pretty boring really.

Oh we have been watching Twin Peaks on DVD, Andy has joined this DVD rental club, we're up to episode 5. It's just as odd as I remember it. Andy has never seen it before though. Also watched X Men 2 last week for all you Alan Cummings fans ;0)

As for sun holidays, we've decided we are going to buy a new tent instead, I've had my tent 'Salome' for about 10 years, I bought it with my mate Ann. We've had some fun over the years but I think it's time to get a bigger tent...luxury! :0)

Must go now, we're off to a meal at friends that we haven't seen for ages.

On the hospital front, we managed to get an appointment on the 22nd of December. So I've got another go at IUI but have also provisionally booked IVF for April. Of course I'm hoping this months treatment will work...don't know where the money for IVF will come from but I think Andy has got a back up plan as we have known that IVF maybe on the cards for sometime.

Christmas was quiet for us, we always spend it on our own and just do a bit of visiting before and after. although andy's Mum and Dad did bring the two Grandmas round for a cup of tea and a slice of my Christmas cake. did I tell you I made my own Christmas cake this year. It was very tasty even if I do say so myself! :0)

Got some lovely pressies and apparently there is still one to come in the post.

We're off to Scotland in February, a castle near the Mull of Kintyre infact. I am trying to persuade Andy to take a sun holiday too, he's not too keen as the sun doesn't suit him but we've not had a beach holiday for two years. It's not my fault he chose scorchio Madrid as the place he wanted to go for his 30th birthday last year! Of course we've got to fit all this around my treatment.

Other exciting news, been de-pooping the garden. The tomcats from next door but two seem to think my herb patch is one big cat toilet! I think they have been teaching Tallulah bad habits too, as she has not been using her litter tray as much. Bloomin' cats!

I think I'm going to clothes shopping this week, might go to Chester or Manchester. I really need some new underwear. My bras all seem a bit tight. Measured myself today and I think I might need a 40a bra...bloody hell! I've been wearing 36d... do you think it's all the hormones I've been taking. I mean I've lost weight but my boobs have become humungous! This is very scary, no wonder I look like bloody Mae West when photographed side on...yikes, not a pretty sight!

I have been in a chocolate eating frenzy....only one box of Maltesers to go. Andy is already back in diet mode but I can't help myself when stuff is around to eat. One consolation is thought that I still weigh less than I did at this time last year and that's with the weight I've put on over Christmas. Well, you've got to eat goodies at Christmas, it's the law!

On that note I'm off to check on our roast dinner.
