10 years!!!

On the 10th of August Andy and I celebrated our 10th Wedding Anniversary by going to Chester Zoo, it was fabby. I saw my name listed on the Sponsers of the Orang-utans. Woohoo, so glad they are finally doing their enclosure up. It should open next Easter and it will be called Realm of the Red Ape.

We took lots of lahverly Marks and Sparks goodies with us for a picnic, and managed to avoid the rain and sat outside toeat, close to the jaguars, but not too close! LOL I was very brave and walked through the Bat Cave, brilliant, so glad I did it.

We managed to see just about everything apart from the reptiles and fish, we just ran out of time. The zoo is fantastic and they continue to do loads of improvements. I believe they are hoping to become the largest zoo in Europe and will eventually be over 4 times larger than it is now. Anyway go and have a look at their website Chester Zoo

I've got some photos of our zoo visit that I will load up soon, promise :0)

In other news we have been in a theatre ticket buying frenzy. What started it off was my friend Helen saying that there is a Rocky Horror Singalong at The Brindley on Halloween, well...I mean...how could we not go to that? So we went yesterday and bought tickets for us, Helen, Batty and Hartley. Soooo looking forward to it, should be a real laugh. We've now also got tickets to see Alan Carr, him off Friday Night Project, plus we've bought tickets to take my Mum to see Summer Holiday this Saturday.

Two pictures, one scary and one not so scary. You decide which is which....

In the top picture the little brown almond things aren't actually moving, it's your eyes making that effect! In the bottom picture Andy and I are enjoying the sunshine after the rain at the outdoor firework concert we went to at Cholmondley Castle the other weekend. Which picture is scarier... You decide!
