I've added my Oxfam Unwrapped Christmas Wishlist up there on the left. It's a really good idea, in the past year people have purchased 50 trees and a donkey on my behalf...cool :0)
It's really easy to do it for yourself and good to know that you and your friends and family are helping someone else out. That sounds really sanctimonious but I'm sure you know what I mean...it's good to give :0) | 9:00 pm
Thursday, October 26, 2006 So yeah I'm crap at posting
Sorry I've not posted for ages, been really busy with 'Soap and Stuff' I guess folks are starting to buy their Chrimbo pressies. I've also got a couple of Pamper Parties to make things for, anyway that's all news for my Craft Blog
So what else has been happening? Well we've been to the Zoo again, we took my Mum there for her 65th birthday. She really enjoyed it, we pushed her around in a wheelchair we hired. I don't think she's travelled at that speed for a long time! Poor Mum has really bad arthritis and finds it difficult to walk. She does walk but incredibly slowly...we call her speedy! LOL Actually I'm a bit worried about her at the mo, she had a really bad infection on her chest and despite 2 lots of antibiotics and steroids it's still not better. I'm taking her back to the docs tomorrow.
I've had a bit of a cold too, stayed in bed on Sunday, had to get up on Monday though...soooo much to do.
So yeah, Halloween soon, you know how much I love Halloween ;0) Well we are all off to Singalonga Rocky Horror on Tuesday, still not sure what I am going to wear. My Mickey Mouse ears haven't turned up yet. Was thinking of going as Columbia in her pjs with ears and maybe a feather boa for a lil va va voom! With the obligatory corset of course :0)
Other news, my mate Ann has still not had her baby, come on bubs we can't wait to meet you. Thinking of you matey (((HUGS FOR ANN)))
Right, I should be in bed now, got some blokes coming to fit new kitchen worktops early in the morning, but Lula has decided to go out for a wander and we need to give her an insulin jab before we go to bed. Bloomin' cat...but we lurve her :0)
More news, I've ordered a posh frock for the Christmas Ball we are going to at Tatton Hall..woohoo..you may see it for sale on Ebay in the New Year...it will be a bargain! LOL Also bought some sparkly shoes and bag to go with it...bling bling. Will post piccies next time I post. Just hope the frock fits ok.
